The living areas are spacious and comfortable, making a highly sociable space for your stay in Bath. 

The Sitting room has a leather corner sofa with an extra sofa so that 10 people can relax in comfort.  The original Victorian fireplace is a lovely feature and is complemented by neutral decoration to set off the room. Modern comforts of a 40in flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, and ipod compatible stereo are installed. Lots of side tables mean there is always somewhere to put your drink! Free Wifi is included

The Dining Room is on the other side of the hall to the sitting room so it means you have two rooms to use, useful if children get bored of adult conversations. The dining table for 10 people is big enough that you can all enjoy your meals together.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need when away from home including 2 fridge-freezers, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and plenty of crockery and cutlery. As well as the fridge-freezer in the kitchen there is an additional one near to back door to make sure you will always have enough space for cold drinks! Ever been to a holiday cottage where there isn't a decent sharp knife? Well, not at Marmaduke House as the kitchen has been properly equipped by the owner, a keen cook. There is a wipe clean hob, separate grill and oven, microwave, Dualit toaster & kettle.

Outside there is a courtyard garden with seating so you can enjoy the outdoors, and also private parking for up to 3 cars, which for self catering holiday cottages and vacation rentals in a Bath holiday home is a real advantage. Once you have parked your car you can forget about it and walk.

Starter Supplies Provided

Having been on self catering holidays where the cleaner had cleared the house and we had to go and buy salt, washing up liquid etc., we resolved to try and make things easier for our guests. You will find the beds made up when you arrive, a supply of towels and we always leave the house with stocks of cleaning materials, loo rolls, tea, coffee and milk as well as basic condiments. Please feel free to use any of them.
